Norwich to Mexico

Our little trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The alarm going off at 3 in the morning for our flight at 8, was a huge struggle, not for me for definitely for Nathan. We arrived at Gatwick a little early so had some breakfast and wondered around the shops until we could board. Our flight was 11 and a half hours. I needed to wear comfy clothes.

(Trackies are from ASOS, trainers New Balance and the bag is form Primark)

After what felt like the longest day of my life WE LANDED. We landed at 3.30pm Local Mexican time which would have been 9.30pm at home. After getting our bags and catching a taxi to the hotel (we stayed at Dreams Villamagna). We got greeted on arrival with champagne. Who would say no hey? Then checking into our room and chilling out, we had a wonder around the hotel and along to beach.

After settling down and having a lush couple of days by the pool and the beach we decided to do an excursion to Las Caletas.

LAS CALETAS

We arrived to this tiny island via a huge Puerto Vallarta Adventures boat, which was filled with drinks, snacks and entertainment. Arriving onto this island was magical as we got closer to the harbour, parrots flew across our heads making beautiful shapes in the air. When we stepped off the boat and saw the surroundings all i thought was WOW. It was a hot hot day of 30 degrees with a beautiful breeze,

Above are just a couple of photos i took whilst visiting this destination. We lounged about in hammock, went kayaking, found some monkey and parrots and had some amazing lunch whilst listening to the sea crash against the rocks. If you ever visit Puerto Vallarta i cannot recommend this place enough. It's definitely something i will remember for the rest of my life.

Our amazing holiday was about to end, we were enjoying our last full day and our last night in Mexico. Whilst getting ready for our last dinner which Nathan said we were going to the buffet. We walked down and were greeting by one of the staff. In my head straight away i got extremely confused and didn't understand what was going on. Only to walk down to the beach to find my lovely boyfriend Nathan had payed for us to have a 4 course meal by the beach for our last day. I couldn't be thankful enough for Nathan for booking this it was amazing way to end our perfect little holiday.
